The team at Mike Pero Waiuku donated a defibrillator to the Waiuku Health and Fitness Centre.
After a medical event that occurred earlier in the year, the team thought it would be a good idea to have a defibrillator installed where there was 24 hour access.
“A percentage of our sales goes towards the Mike Pero Foundation, which allows us to use for community minded projects. We applied for the defibrillator to be funded through the foundation, and feel that it is in great locality in Waiuku if it ever needs to be used,” says Mike Pero Waiuku branch owner, Julie Rodgers.
